Emerald Canyon Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Parker, Arizona.
Emerald Canyon Golf Course first opened for play in 1989. The course was designed by Bill Phillips.
Emerald Canyon Golf Course can be extremely difficult due to the winds that can affect your shots. If you are looking for a good game of golf and like being out in the desert area, this is a great course to visit. The course has the natural desert of Arizona coming right up to the fairways and greens. The course is located in a beautiful setting with rocky cliffs, wild shrubs, cacti, and the Colorado River. The trees lining the narrow fairways will also have an influence on your game. The Colorado River comes into play on a few holes. Carved out of the mountains and canyons overlooking the Colorado River, Emerald Canyon is a delight to the eye as well as a great golf challenge.
#16 and #17 offer great views from elevated tees. On 17th you will have to clear a 150 yard canyon about 280 yards out so plan on an accurate drive staying as far left as possible, or simply take two layup shots to the canyon edge. Emerald Canyon Golf Course is one of those courses you will likely loose a ball or two, so have fun and enjoy the view.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6437 yards. The course rating from the back tees is 71.5 with a slope rating of 131. From the forward tees the course measures 4756 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 10, a par-5 that plays to 623 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 147 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 396 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the Emerald Canyon Golf Course. The easiest hole is # 16, a 283 yard par-4.

I was on vacation visiting relatives in Lake Havasu and drove the 30 miles down state to Parker. I had heard so much from local golfers about Emrald Canyon and I can tell you it was everything and more I was told it would be! Two of us played in 3 hrs 15 minutes...honest! Maybe it was because I scored really well I had a great time. This part of Arizona has exceptional veiws. I am an advid golfer I play 60 + rounds a year so trust me I really recomend playing Emrald Canyon. The greens where in exceptional shape...I putted well that day. I was told to bring extra balls...I teed-off and holed-out with the same PRO-V1!

Beautyful layout in canyons, many elevation changes. Greens and fairways in excellent condition. Narrow fairways in the canyons require accurate tee shots. Loved the course.
